Vivid red. Primary black and blue fruit aromas are complicated by hints of herbs and menthol. Light and touch dry, with dark berry flavors picking up a refreshing bitter licorice note with air. The fruit is a bit one-dimensional, but this virtually tannin-free wine is extreamely easy to drink.
Suggested food pairing: Perfect with game, roasts, lamb, casseroles, and cured meats, also well suited to pasta dishes and mature cheeses.
