PEREZ CRUZ LIMITED EDITION CARMENÈRE RESERVA 2009 Dry Rose Wine
Deep purple in color this intensely concentrated Carmenère features aromas of plum, leather, smoke, rhubarb and mineral notes. It's dry and full-bodied with plush ripe black fruit and brambly flavors supported by grippy tannins leading to a medium-long finish. The Carmenere grape comes from France's Bordeaux region and was first planted in Chile in the nineteenth century.
Food matches: marinated steak, herb-encrusted lamb chops.
Should be served ice cold at between 15°C - 18°C / 59°C - 64°F
